Don't Let Fear of Failure Stop You

What are you scared of? Throughout life and business, we're faced with obstacles. And we have to push through to get where we want to go. But too often we let the fear of failure get in our way and stop us.

I can tell you personally, I have launched three well, I have started three different podcast. I have gotten the intros and outros. I've done the first couple of interviews. I've done all of the websites, and I allowed the fear of failure to stop me from launching. When it's all said and done, it always goes back to clarity, strategy and action. I got clear on the vision of each one of those podcast. I came up with great plans, but I allowed the fear of failure to stop me from executing.

The fact that you're watching a video on the Company Growth Mastery VLOG, it's a big deal for me and you can do this, too. What was different? I was listening to somebody one day. I wish I could take credit for this and I wish I could tell you who it was. But she said failure only really happens if you don't try. So what I take from that is it's not failure unless you allow fear to stop you from trying. If you execute and you try, you're not failing. You may not do what you want to do, but you're learning and you have the chance to get better. But if you allow fear to stop you, that's failure. That's failure every time.

I don't care what the reason is. If you're allowing fear to stop you from accomplishing your goals, then really you've got to get back to the basics. Too many of us have a fear of looking stupid, you know. It's all about failure. But looking stupid or not knowing what we're doing are ruining our reputation. We cannot allow that to happen. It's all about getting clear about what you want to do. Coming up with a great plan and then taking action. Execute it.
